Eligibility for Refunds

For digital products, including online courses and downloadable recipe collections, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee under the following conditions:

  • The refund request is submitted within 14 days of the purchase date
  • You have completed less than 30% of the course content
  • You provide specific feedback about why the course did not meet your expectations

Non-Refundable Digital Products

The following digital products are non-refundable:

  • Individual downloadable recipes or guides priced under CHF 10
  • Custom meal plans or recipe modifications
  • Digital gift cards

How to Request a Refund for Digital Products

To request a refund for an eligible digital product:

Virtual Cooking Workshops

Cancellation and Refund Policy

For our live virtual cooking workshops, the following refund policy applies:

  • Cancellation 7+ days before the workshop: Full refund or option to transfer to another workshop date
  • Cancellation 3-6 days before the workshop: 50% refund or option to transfer to another workshop date
  • Cancellation less than 3 days before the workshop: No refund, but you may transfer your registration to another person or receive a credit for a future workshop (valid for 6 months)

Workshop Rescheduling by Swiss Cuisine Delights

If we need to reschedule a workshop for any reason, you will be offered the following options:

  • Transfer to the rescheduled date
  • Transfer to a different workshop of equal value
  • Receive a full refund

Technical Issues

If you experience significant technical issues during a virtual workshop that prevent your participation and these issues are determined to be on our end, you may be eligible for:

  • A partial refund proportional to the portion of the workshop affected
  • Access to a recording of the workshop
  • A discount on a future workshop

To request a refund for a virtual cooking workshop:

In-Person Events and Cooking Classes

Cancellation and Refund Policy

For in-person cooking classes, food tours, and culinary events, the following refund policy applies:

  • Cancellation 14+ days before the event: Full refund less a CHF 25 administrative fee
  • Cancellation 7-13 days before the event: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the event: No refund

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. In cases of serious illness or emergency, please contact us directly, and we will do our best to accommodate your situation, which may include transferring your registration to another person or providing a credit for a future event.

Event Cancellation by Swiss Cuisine Delights

If we cancel an in-person event due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another event date.

How to Request an In-Person Event Refund

To request a refund for an in-person event:

  2. Include your name, the event date and title, and your order number
  3. Provide the reason for your cancellation
  4. Attach any supporting documentation if cancelling due to illness or emergency
  5. We will process your request within 5 business days

Physical Merchandise and Products

Return and Refund Eligibility

For physical merchandise (cookbooks, kitchen tools, specialty food items, etc.), the following refund policy applies:

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition
  • Personalized or custom-made items cannot be returned unless they are defective
  • Perishable food items cannot be returned unless they arrive spoiled or damaged

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving the item
  • Provide photos of the damage or defect
  • We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs

Return Shipping

For standard returns (non-defective items):

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method
  • Swiss Cuisine Delights is not responsible for items lost during return shipping

How to Request a Merchandise Return and Refund

To initiate a return and refund for physical merchandise:

  2. Include your order number, purchase date, and the items you wish to return
  3. Explain the reason for your return
  4. Wait for return authorization and instructions before shipping the items back
  5. Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will process your refund

Refund Processing Time

After we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund as follows:

  • Credit to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
  • Store credit (if requested) will be issued within 3 business days
  • Refunds for purchases made with a gift card will be issued as store credit

Subscription Services

Monthly and Annual Subscriptions

For our recipe subscription services and premium membership plans:

  • Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. No refunds are provided for the current billing period, but no future charges will occur.
  • Annual subscriptions may be refunded on a prorated basis if cancelled within the first 30 days. After 30 days, no refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period.

How to Cancel a Subscription

To cancel your subscription:

  3. Select "Cancel Subscription" and follow the prompts

Subscription Refund Requests

Gift Cards

Gift cards issued by Swiss Cuisine Delights are subject to the following terms:

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Physical gift cards that have not been activated may be returned for a refund within 14 days of purchase
  • Digital gift cards are non-returnable once the code has been sent to the recipient
  • Gift cards expire 12 months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated

Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We understand that special circumstances may arise that are not covered by this standard policy. In cases of:

  • Serious illness or medical emergency
  • Natural disaster or severe weather preventing participation
  • Death in the family
  • Other extraordinary circumstances

Payment Processing and Currency

All refunds will be processed in the same currency and using the same payment method as the original purchase. Please note:

  • Refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution
